Governing Body of Insurance Council (GBIC) invites applications for preparing a panel for appointment as Insurance Ombudsman to be posted at Abmedabad and Guwahati. The last date for submission of applications is 31st Marc h2015.

Eligibility:

(A) Persons who have retired (or about to retire) as Executive Director or Zonal Manager in Executive Director cadre or equivalent of LIC of India or General Manager or equivalent of General Insurance Publie Sector Companies in India (OR) 
(B) Persons who have retired (or about to retire) from IAS or IRS. The candidate should have held a post equivalent to or above the rank of Joint Secretary to the Government of India or any equivalent post in IKS IAS. (OR) 
(C) Persons who have retired (or about to retire) as District & Sessions Court Judge or Judge of MACT equivalent to District & Sessions Court Judge or equivalent Courts or High Court Judge.

Salary: Not more than 62 years as on 31.03.2015
