PROFESSOR (NEUROSURGERY)	01	Twelve years of teaching and/or research experience after obtaining MCh in the speciality or its equivalent qualification in the case of 2 years course and eleven years after MCh in the case of 3 years course and seventeen years after MBBS with MCh in the case of direct course.
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (NEUROLOGY)	02	One year teaching and/or research experience after DM in the speciality or its equivalent qualification in the case of 2 years course and just after DM in the case of 3 years course and 6 years after MBBS with DM in the case of direct 5 years course. Candidates with qualification/experience in Paediatric Neurology will be preferred for one post.
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (NEUROSURGERY)	01	One year teaching and/or research experience after M.Ch in the speciality or its equivalent in the case of 2 years course and just after M.Ch in the case of 3 years course and 6 years after MBBS with M.Ch in the case of direct 5 years course.
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (ANAESTHESIOLOGY)	02	One year teaching and/or research experience after DM in the speciality or its equivalent qualification in the case of 2 years course and just after DM in the case of 3 years course and 6 years after MBBS with DM in the case of direct 5 years course OR Three years of teaching and/or research experience after obtaining the requisite post graduate qualification MD in the speciality concerned. Candidates with qualification /experience in Neuroanesthesia will be preferred.
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (IMAGING SCIENCES & INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY)	02	: One year teaching and/or research experience after DM in the Speciality or its equivalent qualification in the case of 2 years course and just after DM in the case of 3 years course and 6 years after MBBS with DM in the case of direct 5 year course OR Three years teaching and/or research experience after obtaining the requisite post graduate qualification MD in the speciality concerned . Candidates with qualification/experience in Cardiac Imaging & Vascular Intervention will be preferred.
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (CARDIO VASCULAR AND THORACIC SURGERY)	02	One year teaching and/or research experience after obtaining M.Ch in the speciality or its equivalent qualification in the case of 2 years course and just after M.Ch in the case of 3 years course and 6 years after MBBS with M.Ch in the case of direct 5 years course. Candidates with qualification and experience in Vascular and Thoracic Surgery will be preferred for one post.
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (PATHOLOGY)	01	Three years of teaching and/or research experience after obtaining the requisite post graduate qualification MD in thespeciality concerned.

Age Limit: Professor - 50 Years; Assistant Professor - 40 Years (as on 01/01/2015).

Pay Scale:

Professor -> Rs.37400-67000 (minimum pay Rs.51600/-) and academic grade pay Rs.10500/-
Assistant Professor -> Rs. 15600 - 39100 (minimum pay Rs. 30000/-) and academic grade pay Rs. 8000/-

Application Fee: Rs. 750/- for General/OBC and Rs. 150/- for SC/ST candidates. Physically Handicapped Candidates (40% or more) are exempted from depositing any fee. The fee pay only through Online Mode.
